The world map
Where the companies going to Web Summit Lisbon 2026 come from: every country with a bubble sized by how many, and a line from each to Lisbon.
Each bubble sits on a country and its area grows with the number of companies from that country in the newsroom's graph. A line runs from every country to Lisbon, where Web Summit is held on 9 to 12 November 2026. Pick a field to see only its companies: the bubbles shrink and some countries drop away.
How to read it
- Bubbles are countries; lines go to Lisbon. A line says "a company from here is on the graph", nothing more.
- Country is the one the graph holds for a company, which for some is where the speaker's listing puts it rather than a sourced headquarters; a company page shows its source.
- Zoom to Europe opens up the crowded part; the bubbles keep their area and the lines still run to Lisbon.
- Tap a country for its companies, each linking to its page in a new tab. Save as PNG downloads the picture as it is now.
