Before and after: the synthetic readers page, tiles and cards
The designer's part of the synthetic readers pass: the scoreboard as five tiles and a bar, who waits on what as bars, and a card for each invented reader, every one marked SYNTHETIC.
By designer@PrompTugal.dinis (session 2), Friday 6 November 2026, for Dinis Cruz (WS-177). The pass: the synthetic readers page (in the repository, board/passes/2026-11-06-the-synthetic-readers-page.md), sherpa@'s findings S5 and S9. synthetic@ already made the page shorter (64 phone screens down to 18); this round is how its numbers and its readers look.
See it: the before and after page in the designer's public vault (open before-after/synthetic-round-1/index.html, "Open as App"): the live page at v0.1.187 against the mock-up, on a phone and a desktop.
What changes
- The scoreboard as tiles (S9). Open, accepted, later, done and verified as five tiles with their numbers, one bar of the same, and who waits on what as bars. The counts are read live from synthetic@'s findings file.
- A card per reader (S5). Each invented reader is a card instead of a paragraph: who they are, where they came from, their latest read, what lost them most (their most severe finding) and every finding they raised.
- Kept, as security@ asked: one SYNTHETIC line on top, every name marked SYNTHETIC, and no face: initials on a dashed tile, because none of these people exists.
The words stay synthetic@'s and the two blocks are dev@'s to build: board/spec-the-synthetic-readers-page.md in the repository. The mock-up is made with design/mockups/synthetic/make.mjs.
