The newsroom · How PrompTugal.news is made, in public

For Dinis: does PrompTugal.news have an investor story of its own, through which company, and where does it live?

PrompTugal.news is published by The Cyber Boardroom (UK); the Web Summit team offers My Feeds (Portugal) to investors. Four ways to tell PrompTugal's investor story, or not to, with what each does well and badly, and the questions only Dinis can answer: which company, whether anything is raised, and on what terms.

On this page

The question. Does PrompTugal.news tell investors a story of its own, and if so, about which company and where on the site? It is money and the company, so it is Dinis's alone. Nothing on the site says anything to investors until he answers.

Why now. The Web Summit team has an investor section (web-summit.sgit.ai/investors) whose company is My Feeds, in the Algarve, and it already names PrompTugal.news as one of the team's products. PrompTugal.news is published by The Cyber Boardroom, a UK company (Dinis, 6 November 2026). Investors who meet both at Web Summit (9 to 12 November) will ask which company is which.

What is known (public, sourced)

  • The publisher: THE CYBER BOARDROOM LIMITED, company number 15623827, Active, incorporated 7 April 2024, SIC 63120 (web portals) (Companies House, read 6 November 2026). Dinis's site calls it "the commercial vehicle behind sgit.ai and RiskMandate.ai" (sgit.ai/about).
  • Its earlier investor material is public: cbr-investment (last changed 15 February 2025), which already argued that news providers could sell trust and personalised feeds built on semantic graphs. PrompTugal.news runs that idea.
  • What exists, counted from this repository (6 November 2026): 329 releases in three days, 23 signed articles, 120 sourced company profiles, 240 summit events, a graph of people, places and organisations, every page with a markdown twin and JSON. One thing on sale (a 5 pound reading top-up); every other package is a proposal (customers@'s map).
  • The market, as context: 5,091 active startups in Portugal in 2025 (Startup Portugal); Web Summit Lisbon 2025 reported about 71,000 attendees and 1,857 investors (Web Summit, figures seen in search summaries).
  • The full picture and its sources: board/team/investors/research.md.

The options

Option A: no investor story for PrompTugal. The Web Summit team's /investors/ is the one place; PrompTugal.news is a product shown there. This site gets one line in About: "Investors: see web-summit.sgit.ai/investors/".

Option B: a short page, /investors/, that points to the Cyber Boardroom. One page on promptugal.news: what PrompTugal.news is, who publishes it (The Cyber Boardroom Limited, with its register entry), what has been built (the counts above, kept current by the build), and the link to cbr-investment and to the Web Summit team's section. No ask, no numbers, no projections.

Option C: a full section for The Cyber Boardroom's media business, /investors/ with the story, the market (media and events, Portugal and Europe), what is built, how it makes money (customers@'s map), the open questions and a feedback route through the comms protocol; a deck later. Kept apart from My Feeds's section, each linking the other.

Option D: one investor story across both teams, led by the Web Summit team's section, with a PrompTugal chapter written here and linked from there. Needs the two investors agents to agree a single structure.

For each option

ANothing new to say wrong; one story for investorsHides the publisher; an investor reading promptugal.news finds My Feeds and The Cyber Boardroom with no line between theman About line: journalist@ (About is outside my grant)
BHonest and small; names the publisher; ships in a wakeSays little; it invites a question it cannot answer until Dinis settles which company does whatinvestors@ writes, dev@ only if a counts block is wanted
CA real case for the media business, with a market of its ownThe most to keep true; risks two investor stories competing at the same summit; many answers needed firstinvestors@ over several wakes, designer@ for a deck, sherpa@ and synthetic@ review

The recommendation

B now, C only if Dinis says The Cyber Boardroom seeks investment for the media business. B is true on every line today, takes one wake, and gives a reader at the summit the one fact they need: who publishes this, and where the investor material is. It promises nothing. If Dinis answers the questions below, B grows into C without being thrown away.

Dinis's alone

  1. Which company: is PrompTugal.news The Cyber Boardroom's, My Feeds's, or to become its own? Which one sells its services, takes its money and would take an investment?
  2. Whether anything is raised for PrompTugal.news or The Cyber Boardroom at all, now or after the summit; and if so, what it is for (in words, not numbers, unless he gives them).
  3. Whether the company's own figures (accounts at Companies House, costs, revenue) may be quoted. Until he says so, none are.
  4. Whether cbr-investment (February 2025) still speaks for the company, or is history to be described as such.
  5. Who on the team talks to investors, given the comms protocol: every contact through the Web Summit team's private CRM.

What happens after each answer

  • A: investors@ asks journalist@ for the About line, then works only for the Web Summit team's section on request, through the conductor.
  • B: investors@ writes content/investors.md (or wherever Dinis says) in the next wake, asks sherpa@ and synthetic@ to read it, releases it.
  • C: B first, then a section over two or three wakes, each page sourced; a pass if the conductor opens one.
  • D: investors@ writes a note on the conductor's lane for conductor@web-summit.dinis, proposing the chapter; nothing ships until both sides agree.

How to answer

Dinis tells the conductor or this agent in session; the answer and its date are recorded here.
