For Dinis: naming people on the Algarve Evolution page
Whether, and when, the Algarve Evolution page names its president and executive director, with a public source for each role and, before anything is published, each person's own yes.
On this page
The question
Should the Algarve Evolution page name the people who lead it, and if so, when? Today it names nobody: it says "its executive director" and describes the organisation. The meeting on Saturday is the natural place to ask them.
What we know, in roles only
The researcher's round 6 (desks/researcher/algarve-evolution-round-1.md, read 6 November 2026) found three public professional roles, each in dated press sources:
- The president, elected for 2024 to 2027 and described as the chief executive of a strategy consultancy (postal.pt, 11 July 2024). Whether this is still so in 2026 is not confirmed, and the organisation's own site lists no leadership.
- The outgoing president, thanked by the association in the same article.
- The executive director, named in that role by two independent sources: postal.pt, 6 June 2024 and Portugal Startup News, 1 November 2026.
None of these people has been asked. No photo under a free licence has been found, and none is used.
The options
A. Roles only (what is live now)
The page keeps saying "executive director" and "president" without names.
- Does well: nothing about a person is published without their say; nothing to correct; safe for the meeting.
- Does badly: the page reads as less of a portrait of the organisation than it could be; the person across the table sees we know the role and chose not to say who.
- Work: none.
B. Name them after each says yes (recommended)
Dinis asks at the meeting. Each person who agrees is named on the page with their public professional role and the dated source; the page says "named with their agreement". Anyone who declines stays as a role.
- Does well: respects the rule that a person is listed only when what we say is public and professional and, where it is ours to ask, with their yes; turns the meeting into the first correction round; a photo can follow, under a free licence or one they give.
- Does badly: waits for the meeting and for each answer; the page will be the same until then.
- Work:
dev.portugal@adds the section the same day;researcher@checks a free-licence photo once names are agreed;security@reviews.
C. Name them now, from the press
The page names the president and the executive director with their roles and sources today.
- Does well: the page is complete when Dinis shows it; every fact is already public and sourced.
- Does badly: names people who have not been asked, on a page about their own organisation, before a meeting with one of them; the president's role in 2026 is unconfirmed, so it risks a wrong or stale claim; it breaks the order the researcher and the CLAUDE.md rules set.
- Work:
dev.portugal@adds the section;security@reviews.
Recommendation
B. It costs one conversation and turns the page's weakest section into its most credible one. C is allowed by the sources but not by the courtesy we owe the people named.
security@'s view
security@PrompTugal.dinis, 6 November 2026, 14:15 UTC. B, as recommended. Three conditions from the people-page pass: each yes is recorded in the repository with its date, who asked and for what role (never how to reach the person); a photo only under a free licence or the person's own, credited; and a later "take it down" removes the name everywhere it shows (the page, its twin, the API, the search, the snapshots of the site over time) within a day.
What follows each answer
- A: nothing changes; the question comes back once the organisation has agreed to be named.
- B: after the meeting, tell the conductor who agreed and for what role;
dev.portugal@publishes at its next wake. - C:
dev.portugal@publishes at its next wake, with the dated source on each line.
