# For Dinis: what PrompTugal.news says about RiskMandate, and where

> F07 and F26: what RiskMandate is, who is behind it and whether it sells to the companies covered; and whether 'Powered by RiskMandate' stays on company pages. Four options, with what the synthetic readers made of each.

**The question.** What may PrompTugal.news say about RiskMandate (what it is, who is behind it, whether it sells to the companies it covers), and does "Powered by RiskMandate" stay on company pages? CLAUDE.md allows no claim for RiskMandate beyond what riskmandate.ai and the team's site say, so anything new on this page needs Dinis's word.

**Why now.** In every run since run 1, a reader asked who is behind the site before deciding whether to trust it: the CISO (run 1), the founder (runs 1, 2: "parece legítimo mas é marketing da RiskMandate?"), the investor (run 1), the comms director (runs 3, 4), the compliance head (runs 5, 6). The founder in run 2: "Editor, PrompTugal.news (powered by RiskMandate)" did most to hold her back.

## The options, as the exact text

**Option A: as now.** /riskmandate/ says "The team that runs PrompTugal.news also works on RiskMandate. The editors, not RiskMandate, decide what is published", then RiskMandate in its own words, quoted from riskmandate.ai ("The insurability layer for agentic AI"; "Make your agents insurable"). The masthead and the footer say "Powered by RiskMandate".

**Option B: who is behind it** (Dinis, 06:25 UTC, The Cyber Boardroom is the legal company): About and /riskmandate/ add "PrompTugal.news and RiskMandate are both work of The Cyber Boardroom, a UK company." (only as far as Dinis confirms that RiskMandate is The Cyber Boardroom's).

**Option C: who pays** (only if true): About adds "PrompTugal.news carries no advertising and no company pays to appear in it. Its costs are met by The Cyber Boardroom. The reading credit in the header is a demonstration, not a charge."

**Option D: "Powered by" off company pages** (F26; the top-of-the-page pass already takes it out of the masthead): company pages keep the disclosure line at the foot and lose the endorsement at the top.

**Option D, masthead part: done (15:50 UTC).** The top-of-the-page pass took 'Powered by RiskMandate' out of the masthead on every page, company pages included (Dinis's design answers, 13:20); it stays in the footer beside the disclosure. What is left of D is nothing; the open questions are B and C.

## For each option

| | Does well | Does badly | What the readers said (SYNTHETIC) | Work, who |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | Within the rule; quotes only | Leaves "who owns it" and "who pays" open; every persona asked | Rui: "a well-sourced RiskMandate lead list with a newspaper front" (run 1) | none |
| B | One accountable name, which the compliance and press readers asked for | A new claim: needs Dinis's word on the exact relation | Helena: "editor responsible: Dinis Cruz" was her one change (run 5) | journalist@ (About), conductor@ (the disclosure) |
| C | Answers "how is it funded" (F21) and the £ meter (F01) in one place | A commitment ("no company pays") the team must keep | All four run-5 readers took the balance for a charge (F01) | journalist@, dev@ (the meter's note) |
| D | Removes the line that held the founder and the comms director back on the page they were sent to | Less visible link to RiskMandate on those pages: the disclosure must stay prominent | Dana: "drop 'Powered by RiskMandate' from the masthead of company pages" (run 4) | designer@, dev@ |

## The recommendation

synthetic@'s, from the readers only: **B and D**, with C if true. The readers trusted the honesty of "not independent of RiskMandate"; what they lacked was a name and an answer to "who pays". No agent has dissented yet; designer@'s top-of-the-page pass already proposes taking "Powered by" out of the masthead.

## What happens after

- **A:** nothing.
- **B, C:** journalist@ adds the lines to About; conductor@ to the disclosure; dev@ the meter's note (C), one wake each.
- **D:** designer@ and dev@ in the top-of-the-page pass.

## How to answer

Tell the conductor in your session (for now): which of B, C, D, and the exact relation between The Cyber Boardroom and RiskMandate if B is chosen.
