## In short

- Web Summit's tracks do not run every day, so your field decides your best day. We counted the whole public schedule: 1,122 sessions from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November.
- **Security:** all 17 Cybersecurity Summit sessions are on Thursday 12, on Stage 8.
- **Startups pitching, and the investors watching them:** all 16 PITCH sessions are on Tuesday 10, on Stage 12, ending with the results at 16:45.
- **AI and policy** run on all three main days; **developers** on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Monday 9 is Opening Night: Centre Stage at 18:00 and 22 Night Summit meet and greets.

## Which day is yours

Counts of sessions per track, from Web Summit's public schedule as it stood on Saturday 7 November. Times are Lisbon time.

| If you work in | Track | Mon 9 | Tue 10 | Wed 11 | Thu 12 | Where |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Security | Cybersecurity Summit | 0 | 0 | 0 | **17** | Stage 8 |
| Startups, early-stage investing | PITCH | 0 | **16** | 0 | 0 | Stage 12 |
| Investing | Venture Summit | 0 | 14 | 12 | 0 | Stage 5 |
| AI | AI Summit | 0 | 18 | 20 | 15 | Stage 13 |
| Software development | Developer Summit | 0 | 0 | 15 | 16 | Stage 10 |
| Policy and regulation | Policy Summit | 0 | 17 | 18 | 17 | Stage 11 |
| Software as a service | SaaS Summit | 0 | 0 | 0 | 16 | Stage 7 |
| Finance and fintech | MoneyConf | 0 | 17 | 14 | 0 | Stage 8 |
| Energy | Energy Summit | 0 | 15 | 0 | 0 | Stage 10 |
| Health | Health Summit | 0 | 0 | 0 | 8 | Stage 5 |
| Growth and scaling | Growth Summit | 0 | 0 | 26 | 20 | Stage 9 |
| Startups showing their product | Startup Showcase | 0 | 0 | 10 | 10 | Stages 6 and 12 |
| Everyone | Centre Stage | 1 | 19 | 19 | 14 | Centre Stage |
| The evenings | Night Summit | 22 | 34 | 34 | 0 | in the city |

The table shows 14 of the schedule's 30 tracks. Some tracks share a stage on different days: MoneyConf has Stage 8 on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Cybersecurity Summit on Thursday.

## Three ways to read it

- **A CISO with one day to spare** should take Thursday: the Cybersecurity Summit, the SaaS Summit and the Health Summit all run only that day.
- **A founder deciding when to be at the stand** might keep Tuesday free for PITCH and the Venture Summit, which ends on Wednesday.
- **A developer** has Wednesday and Thursday; Tuesday, with no Developer Summit, is the day for the AI Summit and the stands.

The companies this newsroom follows are on [our companies page](../companies/index.html), grouped by field: 30 in security, 22 in AI agents, 18 in developer tools, 15 in governance, risk and compliance. The sessions we picked, day by day, are on [the summit's days](../summit/index.html).

## What this does not claim

- **Times and rooms change.** These counts are a snapshot of 7 November; check Web Summit's app on the day.
- **A session's track is Web Summit's label.** Security topics also come up on other stages (Centre Stage, the AI Summit); the table counts only the track.
- **Meetups, stand events and side events** (more than 300 more items) are left out of the table; they run Tuesday to Thursday.
